The Creative Economy Award
We are incredibly excited to announce that on May 1st 2015, the Anacostia Playhouse received the Creative Economy Award at the 5th Annual Congress Heights Great Streets Honors Awards ceremony. In recognition of our commitment to the arts and economic contribution to the Anacostia community, we were presented with this (see below) beautiful award.
We are delighted to receive such recognition, and are even more delighted to share it with you. Our aim is to be an integral part of the arts community in Anacostia, and to present theater and visual art. Having received this award we are happy to know we are headed in the right direction and hope you will celebrate this award as much as we are!
